Hévíz farmers' market

The Hévíz Produce Market offers quality and chemical-free products for the conscious shopper, while the area behind the large parking lot in Hévíz is filled with vendors several times a week, recalling the atmosphere of the old days. Occasionally, to the accompaniment of authentic folk music, artisanal or small-scale producers offer fresh bread, sausages, cheese, homemade cakes, cow’s milk, honey, pickles and fruit juice to visitors. The market is open from 8:00 to 13:00 on Tuesday, from 12:00 to 17:00 on Thursday and from 8:00 to 13:00 on Saturday.

Wine cellars in Egregy

Just one and a half kilometres from the centre of Hévíz is the Egregy district, famous for its wine cellars and gastronomy.
